Notice to Police

The police in every county through which a Special Types vehicle plans to travel require 2 days advance notice if:

• GCW of the combination exceeds 80,000kg
• The vehicle and/or its load is more than 2.9m wide
• The vehicle and load exceeds 18.3m in length
• The combination of load, vehicle and trailers exceeds 25.9m
• Forward or rearward load/equipment projections exceed 3.05m
