Wheelbase Engineering Ltd open ‘Privately owned Test Facility’ (POTF’s) for third party IVA inspections by DVSA.
Having invested in DVSA standard test facilities for the inspection and certification of commercial vehicles and trailers which were originally intended for solely our own use, these test facilities have now been opened up for the use of third party clients.
The obvious benefit to our customers is that we are in a position to provide added value services, such as assistance navigating the complexities of the administrative requirements, workshop services to correct that small error in build specification and a flexible approach with timing issues.
There is a substantial learning curve for the independent bodybuilder considering using the IVA route to WVTA, therefore being able to speak to someone with experience in the process can provide a significant amount of peace of mind in the knowledge that they can ask questions knowing that the answers will be the result of personal experience using the system and liaising with both the VCA and DVSA.
